This is the name that Patty has given her car here in France. It sure is a little devil. First of all is red, I have no idea what kind of car it is so dont bother asking me. It is a stick shift only the stick is in the dashboard and in the mornings in oreder to turn it on you have to push in a choke button. Quinn tried to drive it but its been up to me since I know more about driving a stick shift. At first I was literally scared to death not only because the car is old and the stick shift is in an akwaed position but because there didnt seem to be any rules of the road in this area of France. First of all the speed limit says 70km/hr but I am certain people are driving well over 120km/hr since they pass me while I am keeping it at a steady 90km/hr. Also the sinces are a little wack... by this I mean when you are supposed to yield no one really yields, and no one really stops, I am still not sure how there are not more accidents. Some roads lead you right into oncoming traffic and some roads are not wide enough for a car. There are also alot of hills which make it difficult to drive in.
But I have grown to really like driivng Diablo. The heater works well which is very much appriciated in the weather we have been having over here. It gets us to and from the Géant (French version of Wal-Mart) which is about 10km away. Driving in France has not been all that bad, its been easier then the computer usage thats for sure!
You're lucky you know how to drive a stick shift..I sure hope I never find myself in a situation where that is all I have to drive.. I'd never get anywhere!!
