Nice is so Nice

Nice was quite the adventure, it stayed relativly nice for us (meaning it didn't rain at all) but it was cloudy and windy like all the places we have been along the Med Sea so far. We took a promanade along the beach; enjoyed a baguette with bre, then walked up a large hill overlooking the city. We have some pictures of us trying to get a picture that seems like we are hanging over the cliff out over the city but it didn't work as well as planned. The Meditteranean Sea is gorgeous everywhere I've been so far its this teal blue with a hint of emerald as it approaches the shore, its so inviting I wanted to go swimming so bad, we saw people doing it regardless of the nasty cold wind. I almost got a ticket for not validating my bus ticket but some swedish women saved me from that embarassment. The story is that it cost one Euro to ride the train thing through town, we decided to be sneaky and buy a ticket but not validate it so we could use it again. Quinn was of course watching out for the ticket cop guys and saw them a slit second before I did so we both swipped out tickets in the machine right as the cop guy took my ticket. My heart sank thinking great here it comes a 40 euro ticket damn it, when this crazy swedish women comes marching up to the officer and thrashing a coin at him and trying to tell him (in broken english even though he was french) that she didnt know how to use the machine. I slipped away in the crowed and never got a ticket. HA. We finished off our day at the hostel which is by far the nicest and most accomindating hostel we have stayed at. It had 11 computers to use, free of chqrge, huge kitchen where you can cook your meals or pay 6 euro for a really good meal that the chiefs make. There was a lounge, laundry and the nicest people I could have hoped for.
