Races

So I had a running blog that I was trying to keep up with but due to work, travel, and life in general its really impossible. Since this blog has seniority and more pictures it get to stay.... you can read up on my running blog if you want to at ashleyrun.blogspot.com otherwise this is the place to look for new adventures!!!

This is a copy of what my first PRE Half Marathon Running Schedule looked like. It surprisingly worked VERY well.

My Running log now has my New Marathon Training plan... surprisingly my old log was very similar to the Hal Higdon Marathon training program so I have adopted his plan and hope it works!

Here is what his Marathon Training Program looks like.

My fırst Half Marathon- I had to keep this link alive. I loved this race, and I love this post... READ IT!

In Berlın Germany I ran 13.1 Mıles

My other runs: and more to come!

Just did the Polar Bear 5K wearing the Trinity Bikes mountain bike racing teams jersey! My time was 24.5 minutes at a 3.78mi race so pretty darn good! Here are some race photos! It was just a fun run, I ended up getting 4th for women!

Next Race: Antalya, Turkey March 6th 21.1km..... update soon!

Ok so the antalya half marathon was a crazy one.. It was pouring down rain so much rain that it was hard to see and the road was just flooded! it was crazy insane fun (really messy). I beat my time with 2:04:09 but wasn't able to break the two hour mark! Next time... Here are some photos!

The next race I did (after two different Istanbul half marathons were cancelled.. real bummer) was the Firatpen Atatuk Kosusu! Super fun and I even won first place in my age group! This race was at the Belgrade Ormani (forest) and I just love running here it reminds me so much of Eugene and central Oregon. I love that Istanbul has so much in common with Oregon once you head out of the city.

There was another race in the Belgrade forest the next weekend! It was called AKUT and it was to raise money for the local AKUT club. This club is like an outdoors rescue team like if someone where stuff on a mountain or lost int he woods.
