Barcelona, Futbol and the Mediterranean

So our arriveal in Barcelona went well, we leaft Madrid on the AVE train which traveled soundly for 3 hours at 285 km/hr about 178 mi/hr. The coutry side was beautiful, it was dry yet there were patches of green trees and flowers scattered everywhere. The countryside is mostly and largly hills, so there were these small cottage towns tucked away all over the place. Everyonce in a while there would be a midevial castel on a hill towering over a small village. As we came upon the Mediterranean sea my mouth just dropped, pictures dont do it justice, even on this cloudy day it was beautiful. Grean and emeraled with just a hint of blue. We plan on heading to the beach today.
Our hostel was much nicer then the previous one, its an actual apartment style with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and basically each bedroom has 2 bunk beds so we share a room with two other people. I have to meet one of our roomates, his/her stuff is there but they have not been around the apartment. Our other roommate Rasmuse is from Sweden. He is such a cool guy, really friendly and nice, he got a ticket to the Barcelona and atletica madrid futbol (soccer) game and said that we should try too. Quinn was thinking that they would be too expensive since that's such a trivial game, kinda like a civil war game back home. Rasmuse got his ticket for 50 euro so we wanted to try. At the entrance to the stadium we were approached by these guys selling tickets. We were afraid they were fakes so i took one ticket and entered the stadium while Quinn waited with the guy to see if I got in. Well lets just say this whole situation started and ended sketchy....

I got in fine it was getting back out that became the struggle, Rasmuse came with me and ran back to Quinn telling him I got in fine and was waiting for him at gate 81 (complete other side of the stadium) by the time Rasmuse got to Quinn the guy selling the tickets (which were amazingly good tickets) had been scared off by a security guard (selling tickets like that are illegal.) So there I am waiting for Quinn to meet me at gate 81 and an hour passes...crap right? So i use my better judgment and decide ok... for whatever reason he didn´t get in I´ll go back...wrong.... they couldn't´t let me out of the stadium. Every guard at every post even the policio thought I was looking for my seat and would grab my ticket and point at the number, then at the direction of my seat... language barrier caos! I got so frustrated but finally found someone who spoke english to explain the situation and tell the guard to let me out. Once out there was Quinn waiting on the outside...

I did get pictures and a video of the game... I also got to sit in our seats (which were really awesome) for about 5 minutes and I saw the first goal.
Maybe next time things will work out...
