Kos, Greece

Greece for a Day.....  These pictures really show it all. I have been blogging about my Bodrum trip and I am a bit tired of writing. I wanted to get some pictures up of when we went over to Kos Greece and here they are. I needed to get a new visa sticker which was stressful in so many ways since my old one was not expired yet and I was not sure if they would give me one before it was expired. So I was nervous but needless to say it was for no reason becasue when I went to get the sticker the guy didnt even look at my passport just took my money and gave me a sticker. We took an early ferry boat to the island of Kos and do to the lazy, slow passport control people we only had about 4 hours to explore rather then the 8 or so we were planning on having. We had some lunch on the seaside, Catherine and I got some margaritas and daiquiris. Then since we had forgotten our map we ended up going on a crazy adventure through the ghetto of the town looking for the ancient gymnasium, amphitheater and some other ruins we wanted to see. It wasn't long before we were dying of heat good thing there was a cave that was cool which we got to explore. It was an ancient tunnel leading to the amphitheater. My favorite part was when Catherine and I took a piece of a mosaic in the ancient gymnasium...ıt was one of those thıngs where you just had to be there to get the humor behın the sıtuatıon... We ended out afternoon watching some more futbol and then exploring the castle area. Back to bodrum where the craziest thing happened. We actually ran into another American girl who was coming to Turkey to meet Huma! I was like um, I am her Au pair right now! So we hung out with her, watched more futbol... common theme for this trip and headed home for one of the best meals! I love the grill and I love that I dont have to cook, the guys do it!
