Que Sera...Sera

Que Sera Sera... Whatever will be will be. Oh of my favorite sayings. This is how I felt and something I repeated over and over while out and about on Sunday. For some reason I knew what I wanted to do with my day, but just never got it done. Let me explain. I woke up in a great mood, went on a short run which put me in an even better mood. Got ready in time for the early bus which meant no traffic and an even BETTER mood. Yet after arriving in Sultanahmet my mood shifted. There were so many tourists and so many people trying to scam tourists that I just felt really not at peace. I was annoyed that I couldn't find the Book club I had set out to join which also didn't help my mood, then the line to enter the Hagia Sophia was long, another mood killer, finally after deciding that it just was not my day to be in Sultanahmet I left on the tram and arrived at Kabatas and then Besiktas only to realize it was Sunday so most shops are closed. Mood destroyed! Then I sat down in the center square on a bench to regroup and think about how I wanted to go about my day when this little saying came to me. Que Sera, Sera. Whatever will be, will be. I felt a little better, at that same moment the sun came out and it got warmer and warmer as I sat there my face felt sunkisses which instantly makes me feel exceptional. From there my roller coaster of a day only shot up. I met up with my friend Sarah and we had coffee and a great Bosphorus walk.

As I am writing this I am having an epiphany. I think I will use this Que Sera, Sera phrase more often, its a great meditation tool and stress reliever. Anyone wanna try it with me?
